EMRAILS: for all ex-stock rail needs

EMRAILS

With more than 30 years of experience behind it, EMRAILS continues to be one of Australia’s main rail stockists, and a trusted source of the components for the rail, mining, marine and construction industries.

With a goal to provide excellent service in the supply and distribution of rail and fastening systems,  EMRAILS offers the largest and most comprehensive range of ex-stock railway rails, crane rails and light rails in the country.

EMRAILS manager Charlie Agius says all rails are available for immediate delivery in Australia, New Zealand and various export markets.

“We strive for excellence in service, stocking and distributing rail and fastening systems,” he said.

The EMRAILS offering includes:

  • A good range of sizes
  • Stock availability
  • Delivery on time in full
  • Processing: drilling, cutting and ultra testing
  • Project management: for example, flow delivery and storage options

“We have worked with all companies in all markets supplying just the rail or complete rail package,” Agius said.

“There is an extensive range of products for both light and standard rail.

“The standards in stock include Australian, Japanese, German and ArcelorMittal standards.

“For example, our RT19 is based upon the Australian Standard AS1085.1-2002. The 68kg plain carbon rail is suitable for most network and light freight and mining rail applications.

“The 53kg HH rail is a head hardened rail, giving better durability and suitability for heavy axle loads and tight radius curves and can contribute to the longevity of the rail network.
