<p>FreightLink expects no significant delays from a minor derailment of a train about 55 km south of Darwin yesterday (Tuesday, April 22).</p> <p>Four empty hopper wagons from a train heading south to Muckaty derailed about 6 am.</p> <p>The three locomotives and the other 39 wagons were not damaged, but FreightLink said there was minor damage to the track.</p> <p>No-one was injured.</p> <p>Meanwhile, the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) continues to work around the clock to re-open the east-west rail line, blocked by the derailment of a Pacific National freight train on South Australia’s Nullabor Plain.</p> <p>Thirteen wagons derailed and about 800 metres of track was damaged, some of which will need to be replaced.</p> <p>The ARTC expects to re-open the line on Friday. </p> <br />
