Early designs have been released for two new stations set to be built as part of the first stage of the Melbourne Airport Rail project.
Tottenham Station will be rebuilt about 20 metres north of its current location, while Albion Station will be reconstructed slightly east of its existing site.
Tottenham Station will be located on the realigned Sunbury Corridor, maintaining connections to Sunbury rail services running through the Metro Tunnel.
The designs for Tottenham include lift and stair access to the new platforms, which will feature shelter and lighting.
They also show a new, wider underpass, providing access from the northern station car park to Sunshine Road, separate from Ashley Street.
The Victorian Government says the connection will be well lit, making it safer and easier for passengers to access the station and future activity centres on both sides of the rail line.
The designs for the new Albion Station feature an overpass with lifts and stairs leading to the central platform, along with improved lighting, shelters and seating.
New pedestrian paths on both sides of the station will improve accessibility, while the current underpass connection will remain in place.
The public is invited to view the station designs and provide feedback through Engage Victoria by 11.59pm on Sunday, June 14.
Works are currently underway to untangle more than six kilometres of track and transform Sunshine Station into a “superhub”, unlocking capacity for 1000 train services each day.
