<p>Pacific National will have some idle wheat wagons this year because of the New South Wales drought.</p> <p>One of FreightCorp’s two main revenue streams was hauling NSW’s wheat harvest.</p> <p>But federal commodity forecaster ABARE expects the wheat crop to be little more than half the size of last year’s and the smallest since 1994ኻ.</p> <p>Pacific National general manager commercial Robert Jeremy said the drought is a short-term issue and the company will deal with is as is appropriate.</p> <p>This could include transferring some of the idle rollingstock from the grains division to other parts of the business.</p> <br />
