Description
The Hand Powered Wire Winder is a compact light weight solution to winding up an old fence wire or temporary electric fencing wire. The Winder can be used to wind up plain wire or barbed wire and the finished coil is easily removed on completion.
This is a great piece of kit for those small jobs or space where terrain imposes limits on access by larger machinery. The winder can be used to pull up single wires or several wrapped together. The outside frame detaches easily for removal of the coils, and cut-outs in the frame enable you to tie off the roll neatly.
Everything you need to retrieve your old fencing wire is included right here in this kit.

Re-use of plain fencing wire is possible as the internal diameter of the recovered rolls are a nominal 600mm, which is compatible with most wire spinners. Recovered barbed wire will need to be dispensed by hand.
Barbed wire capacity: 400m Iowa, 500m high tensile. Distance you can comfortably roll in one section: 50-100 metres.
Plain wire capacity: 1500-2000 metres 2.5 high tensile, 600-800m 4.0mm 'Number 8'. Distance you can comfortably roll in one section: 100-200 metres however we have rolled 600 metres ourselves. General rule of thumb - if you can pull the wire by hand you can wind it comfortably.
