Designs for new Moreland and Coburg stations revealed

PICS: The Victorian Government has unveiled designs for new stations at Moreland and Coberg on the Upfield line in Melbourne’s north.

Both existing railway stations are being rebuilt as part of an elevated rail line which will eliminate four level crossings: Bell Street, Munro Street and Reynard Street in Coburg, and Moreland Road in Brunswick.

Construction is set to begin later this year, with the stations set to be ready for passenger services again in 2021.

The Level Crossing Removal Authority earlier this month revealed a series of images detailing the designs of the future stations, which were put together by architect Wood Marsh.
