<p>New South Wales shadow transport minister Peter Debnam wants the State Government to come clean on any problems with the introduction of the new Millennium trains on Cityrail.</p> <p>A spokesman for the minister was this week unable to say when the trains will come into service. </p> <p>Mr Debnam’s call also follows an incident last week when a test train blocked the track at Warrawee, stranding passengers in a following train for half an hour.</p> <p>"The minister owes commuters an explanation and an apology for the latest CityRail bungle," he said.</p> <p>Mr Debnam has asked the government for an urgent briefing on any design and safety problems with the new trains, their anticipated introduction date and how project management will be improved.</p> <p>Documents the opposition obtained show 48 Millennium carriages that should have been delivered this month are now late.</p> <br />
