<p>Townsville rail workshops have won a $1.65m contract to repair 30 Queensland Rail (QR) wagons used to transport sugar products.</p> <p>The work will require re-sheeting the wagons used to carry sugar syrup – which increases the rate of corrosion – from far North Queensland.</p> <p>The contract will start in May and should last 18 months, the Queensland Government said.</p> <br />
