<p>QR will have hauled more than 150m tonnes of freight during 2001቞, making it the first Australian transport business to reach this volume milestone.</p> <p>With a few days of the financial year remaining, QR has already exceeded the Australian haulage record of 145.6m tonnes that it set last year and expects to end the year having carried more than 153m tonnes.</p> <p>Coal was again an outstanding performer for QR, with a forecast tonnage of 135m tonnes, which is up 6% on last year.</p> <br />
