<p>The Australian Rail Track Corporation expects to clear a coal train derailment about 40 km south of Gunnedah by late tonight (Friday, February 1).</p> <p>The accident near Breeza, southwest of Tamworth in northern New South Wales, damaged about 250 metres of track and derailed 19 wagons at about 4.35 pm on Tuesday.</p> <p>The accident has disrupted passenger services but the line is not as heavily used for coal as other tracks closer to the port of Newcastle.</p> <p>The ARTC hoped to reopen the line tomorrow afternoon.</p> <p>The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. </p> <br />
