Inland Rail will soon begin works at the Euroa railway precinct in Victoria, which will prevent trains from stopping at the station.
The project’s construction partner John Holland will remove the existing railway line and platform currently used by passengers and build new platforms.
Trains will use new commissioned railway lines but won’t stop at Euroa station.
Replacement coach services will be put in place for passengers from Monday 13 April 2026 until the new carpark and platform open on the Elliot Street side of the station later this year.
Southbound passengers can take coaches to Seymour to board the train to Melbourne, dropping-off at Avenel if required. Coaches will service northbound passengers and drop-off where required.
The Railway Street bus stop will be relocated to McGuinness Street for both V/Line and Public Transport Victoria services.
The Railway Street carpark will also be impacted from Tuesday March 24, with staged changes to pedestrian access and parking introduced as construction progresses.
Temporary public parking will be available at the Euroa Hotel carpark, off McGuinness Street.
Russell Hamilton, Inland Rail Beveridge to Albury Project Director said Inland Rail understands that these works may cause an inconvenience to passengers.
“We are working closely with V/Line and our construction partner John Holland to support travellers the best we can,” he said.
“We thank the people of Euroa and for their patience and cooperation as we transform the station precinct.”
