<p>Representatives from Victoria’s fast rail project will brief businesses in central Victoria on the potential for local input to the project.</p> <p>Regional Rail Link will be in Bendigo and and Woodend to brief local business on the project and the type of goods and services which will be needed from local suppliers and sub-contractors.</p> <p>However, landowners east of Ballarat have said that they will fight plans for a new rail track through their properties as part of the $550m project.</p> <p>They say that plans to bypass the Bungaree Loop are a waste of money and the money should instead be used to upgrade the line between Sunshine and Spencer Street. </p> <br />
