<p>Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) has a new ultimate acting boss as part of a management reshuffle at parent Babcock & Brown Infrastructure (BBI), the infrastructure investment fund said today (Friday, January 25).</p> <p>Eric Kolatchew, BBI’s group project director, with responsibility for overseeing the terminal expansion project Infrastructure, will be DBCT acting chief executive after the resignation of BBI’s chief operating officer – transport, Jeff Pollock, who had been acting in the DBCT role. </p> <p>"Mr Kolatchew will take up his acting appointment immediately and will assume responsibility for all aspects of BBI’s DBCT business, including the expansion, which he has project managed to date," BBI said. </p> <p>Over that time, he had built strong relationships with the DBCT stakeholders and had extensive knowledge of the facility and its operations, the fund said. </p> <p>In addition, PD Ports chief executive David Robinson and WestNet Rail chief executive John Cleland will assume the responsibilities of chief operating officer – Transport Europe and Transport Australia respectively – until a permanent appointment to Mr Pollock’s role is confirmed. </p> <p>Mr Pollock will leave BBI on April 18.</p> <br />
