<p>Bathurst Regional Council will apply for federal funding under AusLink on behalf of a private consortium hoping to build a freight complex at Kelso, the ABC reports.</p> <p>The NSW planning department is currently assessing Slobobax’s plans to build the $100m road and rail terminal.</p> <p>One of the consortium’s directors, Bruce Bolam, said Slobobax needed the council’s cooperation to be eligible for the strategic regional program.</p> <br />
