Barclay Mowlem wins role for Chatswood rail project

<p>A consortium involving Barclay Mowlem has landed the public private partnership contract to develop the $361m Chatswood Transport Interchange project in Sydney.</p> <p>Barclay Mowlem and consortium partners CRI Australia and the Commonwealth Bank signed the PPP with the New South Wales Government this week.</p> <p>The project includes the design and construction of a new railway station with two new island platforms and commuter concourses, new trackwork for the Epping-Chatswood rail, plus bus interchange and three residential towers.</p> <p>The station works are expected to start this year and be completed at the end of 2007.</p> <br />
