<p>Barclay Mowlem has won a $2m contract to manage the rail crossover component of Sydney’s Bondi Junction turnback project.</p> <p>The project is part of the New South Wales Government’s $1bn rail clearways program to improve capacity on Sydney’s suburban rail network.</p> <p>It will involve: the excavation of remaining rock from inside the crossover tunnel concrete invert works tunnel lining and drainage and reinstalling track.</p> <p>"Once completed, the new crossover is expected to boost train service reliability by increasing the number of trains that can be turned around from 14 to 20 per hour," Barclay Mowlem said.</p> <br />
