The Australian Railway Association (ARA) are hosting an additional Call for Papers for AusRAIL PLUS 2015. The call will be used to populate a Suppliers Technical Stream on the program.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Australasian Railway Association (ARA) invites you to submit a 400-600 word abstract that will form a 30 minute presentation in the Suppliers Technical Stream at AusRAIL PLUS 2015. The conference theme for 2015 is “Doing it smarter. People, power, performance” and presenters must look to address this theme from their chosen direction.
In line with the recently released Rail Industry Group (RIG)’s strategy: Rail: Growing the Australian Economy – Six platforms to stimulate growth in the Australian rail industry, areas of particular interest to the Suppliers Stream are:
• Investing in productive, efficient infrastructure
• Capitalising on international opportunities
• Harmonisation;
• Critical skills development and training
• Innovation, technology and advanced manufacturing; and
• Developing capability and entrepreneurial heft among SMEs
All abstracts are due by Friday, 1 May 2015.
