ARG steams to transport standard

The Australian Railroad Group (ARG) has become the first transport company to meet the requirements of Co-operative Bulk Handling’s (CBH) new bulk grain haulage code of practice.

CBH developed the code to confirm the integrity of bulk grain in the supply chain, which will help with international sales.

&#8220With ARG achieving this fantastic benchmark, it will contribute to the effective marketing of WA grain in Asian and European markets where rigorous quality standards are demanded of export grains,&#8221 CBH chief executive officer Imre Mencshelyi said.

ARG’s achievement of best management practice for grain haulage was recognised at a presentation ceremony yesterday (Monday, July 8).
