<p>The Australian Railroad Group (ARG) has invested $2.8m to refurbish rollingstock to prepare for Western Australia’s predicted record grain harvest.</p> <p>ARG said it renovated almost 200 grain wagons and a number of locomotives to raise grain capacity to 750 wagons and 25 locomotives.</p> <p>The operator said it is also in the process of recruiting additional grain crews.</p> <p>WA is expecting a harvest in the region of 14m tonnes, a significant increase on the 12.2m tonnes record set in 1999񳏀. </p> <br />
