ARA calls for high speed rail to be put to market

<span class="" id="parent-fieldname-description"> The Australasian Railway Association has urged the Federal Government to put the east coast high-speed rail project out to market, in an effort to faster and more cheaply progress the project. </span> <p>ARA made the call as part of its submission to the second phase of the Federal Government’s <em>High-Speed Rail Implementation Study</em>, which is investigating the viability and specifics of a high speed line on Australia’s east coast, connecting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne via the Gold Coast, Newcastle and several regional stops in between.</p><div>&nbsp
