<p>Federal transport minister John Anderson has hit back at the New South Wales Government claims of being short-changed on transport funding.</p> <p>Mr Anderson said the Federal Government is providing the state with more than sufficient funds to reopen the Murwillumbah to Casino rail line.</p> <p>"Claims that the rail line was closed because the Australian Government stole $1.7bn from NSW are just plain dishonest," he said.</p> <p>He dismissed NSW transport minister Michael Costa’s claims that the line would take three months to reopen, despite being closed for just three months, as astonishing.</p> <p>"This is a government that nobody would want to pay by the hour," Mr Anderson said. </p> <br />
