<p>Over 1,300 people are now working on the construction of the Alice Springs-Darwin railway, according to the latest statistics from project contractor ADrail.</p> <p>The workforce consists of 800 people from the Northern Territory, 140 South Australians and the rest are from other parts of Australia.</p> <p>Training has played an important role in the project, with around 700 individual courses undertaken.</p> <br />
