The milestone was celebrated with a cocktail function in the business’s hometown of Newcastle, attended by past and present employees and their families, valued clients and the Lord Mayor of Newcastle.
Derel Wust, 4Tel’s Founder & Company Director, said: “We proudly remain an Australian family-owned business, developing world-class technology from Newcastle.
“From our beginnings as a small consultancy, we have grown to become a global solutions provider. We now operate across three continents – Australia, USA and Africa – and hold extensive intellectual property, with 32 trademarks and eight patents.”
4Tel’s new video reflecting on 25 years in business was launched at the event.
Celebrating their highly valued company culture, 16 team members were recognised for 10, 15 and 20 years of employment with the presentation of Milestone Awards at the event.

In his welcome address the Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Dr Ross Kerridge said: “4Tel is developing a very skilled workforce within our community, employing some 83 local staff and growing, many graduates from the University of Newcastle.
