Rail Track Association Australia
The Rail Track Association Australia (known as the RTAA) is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation that seeks to draw together railway owners, contractors and consultants, manufacturers and suppliers, academics, research and development personnel, regulators and individuals involved in the rail industry of Australia with special emphasis on railway track infrastructure.
The RTAA organised thirteen highly successive Rail Conferences between 1973 and 2001 when it changed direction in securing an agreement with the ARA and the other major rail organizations for the first AusRAIL PLUS Exhibition and Conference in 2003. The RTAA initiated the Inaugural RTAA Yellow Tie Dinner in 1981. This tradition continues today at the AusRAIL PLUS Conferences.
